Programs Supervisor Michael Welch - Spiritual Programs:

Work Programs
- Outside work crew (lawn care, pig detail, gardening)
- Maintenance (assists maintenance on projects)
- Librarian (laebling,sorting,and organizing book carts for the facility)
- Pod cleaners (clean dayroom, showers, rec. yards and other tasks as assigned by Pod Officer)
- Trained Biohazard cleaners (once trained able to clean up biohazards)
- Kitchen workers (prepares the facility meals under supervision)
- Inmate helpers
This facility offers a 2 for 1 work / trustee program designed to allow qualified inmates to earn 1 day off their sentence for every 2 days worked. To qualify for this program:
- An inmate must be fully sentenced
- Have shown a willingness to be co-operative and willing to work
- Have had a physical from our medical staff
- Must be free of write-ups for misconduct for 10 days
- Be able to pass a drug screen (I.E. Urine Test)
- Those with disabilities will not be excluded
- Any write-ups while on 2 for 1 may result in loss of 2 for 1
There are several different jobs available and are awarded to those who qualify at the discretion of the programs department. Remember, inmates may apply as soon as you enter the facility, however must show co-operation and willingness to work with staff for the 10 day period prior to being seen by the programs department.
